Functional Massage Therapy

Functional Massage Therapy aims to return you to a state of rest, where your body’s alignment is restored to neutral. Each massage therapy visit will focus on your health priorities for the entire hour. Functional Massage Therapy is now located in downtown Courtenay and is wheelchair accessible at street level. Leslie Clisby is eager to share her experience and understanding of the human body with her patients to help decrease pain or improve movement. She is a member of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association and sits on SportMedBC board of directors. Leslie is returning to the Comox Valley after working in North Vancouver and Campbell River since becoming registered in 2005. She has spent many years working with Rugby Canada and hockey athletes of all levels from NHL to Junior A as well as individual pursuits of skiing, snowboarding, cycling and running.

Functional Massage Therapy receipts are easily accepted by ICBC, DVA and extended medical plans. Making payments is easy with our debit/credit machine.
