Downtown Courtenay welcomes you to Chalk the Block! On Saturday August 14, come shop our unique boutiques, grab some take-out from our delicious restaurants and head over to Duncan Avenue to enjoy our lively picnic area. Add to the community art zone with your own chalk art, and participate in arts activities hosted by Comox Valley Arts, The Comox valley Arts Gallery and the Immigrant Welcome Centre. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all throughout Downtown Courtenay. Duncan Ave will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5th Street to 6th Street.
