

Conversation with Aaron Gunn – Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce
Aaron Gunn is the Member of Parliament for North Island—Powell River, having been elected during the 2025 General Election with the most votes in the riding’s history. As a member of the Conservative Party of Canada Caucus, he serves on the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans and the Special Joint Committee on the Exercise of Powers Under the Building Canada Act.
Throughout his political life, Aaron has been an advocate for lower taxes, less waste, and a stronger Canada. Since being elected, Aaron has remained a fierce advocate for his constituents and their interests in the House of Commons, engaging in numerous high-profile exchanges in question period and at committee on issues as diverse as international trade, public safety, housing prices, the environment, and the defense of constitutional rights.
