Celebrating national poetry month, Downtown Courtenay is putting together the 3rd Annual Poetry Walk!

The League of Canadian Poets has chosen Family as 2025’s theme for Poetry Month.  25 participating businesses will have poems painted on their windows for you to enjoy.

Enjoy the work of 25 local poets, hand painted on shop windows by local artist Kelly Everill throughout 4th, 5th and 6th Streets, as well as Cliffe Ave and Duncan Ave.

An artists showcase will happen at the end of the month to wrap the event up, and pop-up poetry events will take place in Downtown Courtenay through the month of April. Watch our social media for more information on these events!
