Celebrate the beauty of words and place this April in Downtown Courtenay for Poetry Walk 2026. In honour of National Poetry Month across Canada, twenty-five local businesses have partnered with talented local poets to bring this year’s theme, Land and Sea, to life.

Stroll through the heart of downtown and discover original poems hand-painted on storefront windows, each piece inspired by the landscapes, waters, and stories that shape our coastal community. This open-air gallery transforms familiar streets into a vibrant cultural experience—inviting you to slow down, explore, and connect.
