Celebrating national poetry month, Downtown Courtenay is putting together the 2nd Annual Poetry Walk!

The League of Canadian Poets has chosen Weather as 2024’s theme, as such we have 32 businesses that will have weather themed poems painted on on their windows for you to enjoy. We have split them evenly with 8 in each season.

Enjoy the work of 32 local poets, hand painted on shop windows by local artist Kelly Everill throughout 4th, 5th and 6th Streets, as well as Cliffe Ave and Duncan Ave.
