We are so excited to be hosting two elements of the Pride celebrations taking place in the Comox Valley this August. It will begin on Friday evening, Aug 22nd, as Pulse on the Plaza and Queer Centre team up for a party in the streets. Duncan Avenue will be closed to traffic between 5th and 6th street, with major activations near the Art Gallery bringing entertainment, food, libations, and fun from 5 pm – 9 pm.

The following day, Aug 23rd, the Pride Parade will roll through the downtown core from Harmston Ave, down 5th Street, and across the green bridge to end at Pride in the Park. The parade itself will have 5th street shut down through the morning into the early afternoon, and entrants will make their way down the lane from 11:30 am through 1 pm.
